Slide projection with fifteen slides / Typography by Wigger Bierma / Installation size variable / Courtesy Zeno X Gallery, Antwerp, and Tanya Bonakdar Gallery, New York.

MM: In this series of slides, a book is taken up out of a simplified, constructed landscape and placed parallel again with the horizon. The title of the book is based on Charles Darwin’s book On the Various Contrivances by Which British and Foreign Orchids Are Fertilized by Insects, and On the Good Effects of Intercrossing from 1862.
